This feature is the same function that the real time map applies known as Satellite Map. This feature is useful to visualize the satellite coverage on the tracking map. This will give the user the opportunity to visualize the range of satellite signals for the tracked sites. The "Satellite Footprints" button used to activate this feature is located at the top of the Tracking view map.
